Back in June we started work on creating a 2nd CNC turning cell, to add much-needed capacity for our ever-growing customer demands. With thanks to local support from Garfield Builders, PB Solutions, T Clark, MEB Services and, of course, our talented workforce . . .

These “before” and “after” photos show the cell is almost complete:

• 2 x 5 axis m/c
• 1 x 4 axis bar feed subspindle lathes
• 1 x 4 axis chucking lathe

and coming next week:

• I x 2 axis chucking lathe

We were hoping to have the floor painted first, but due to customer requirements we just couldn't squeeze it in beforehand, so that will finish off a great job.
